Our Creed – Goodwill Kodua

There are many ways through which people can know what you believe and what you don’t believe. Two of such indicators of our faith or Believe in Someone, Something is by communication and act of life/living. For one to be distinguished from the many about what he/she stands for, unless it’s expressed, Therefore the need for Creeds.

A creed (also known as a confession, symbol, or statement of faith) is a statement of the shared beliefs of a religious community in the form of a fixed formula summarizing core tenets. A statement of Faith means that our Faith has BASIS.

In my own definition, a Creed is a collection of summarized beliefs and sacraments to express the basis of our faith as Christians.

There are two (2) popular Creeds known, which is the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. Both contains code of absolute convictions on how they have personally experienced God.

The Man of God expresses a deep level of surety concerning the love of God, so profound even in his choice of words, read

Rom 8:3839

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

On the love of God Paul says there is absolutely nothing such as even death, cannot separate us from the love of God.

WHAT IS YOUR CreedThe reason for this question is because the word of God convict, brings certainty and assurance.

  • Your Creed is what you will die for to protect.
  • Your Creed is what will make not denounce God.
  • Your Creed is your overriding passion.

This is a worthy saying, God bless You.
